Great place for the area. Wonderful alternative to ice cream. The kids will love it. Toppings galore. Cereal, coffee, smoothies. Very nice. Already a regular.

The sprinkles were stale, which was kind of weird. And the flavors were a little more tart than I prefer. I love that they sell candy though because gummies are awesome! The salted caramel pretzel flavor just tasted like straight pretzel, it was weird.

PSA: if you do not want your children to go ape over the countless selection of fun topping Uspoon has to offer. 1 do not take them with you, leave them at home or in the car. ( leave the AC running because you maybe awhile, you will have found yourself going ape as well over the countless selection of toppings.) 2. Give them the death ray stare down and in your best parental voice say, " LOOK WHEN WE GET IN THIS STORE DON'T ASK ME FOR EVERYTHING PICK 2 TOPPING ONLY" . If you don't apply said rule you will find yourself paying for a $7 FroYo for a 6 year old who was done after eating all 2lbs of M&Ms out of his Mango&Chocolate swirl. Seriously Uspoon is great I am a fan of what I like to call the "Snow Storm" I mix Tahitian vanilla and birthday cake FroYo together and top it with Shredded Coconut, white chocolate chips and white chocolate syrup. MMMMMMM snow white heaven. I do love the fact that you have so much to choose from. Fresh fruit to classic candies as well as a bowl of your fav cereal. I will warn you, you can top til your heart stop BUUUUTTTTT, you do pay by weight. The inner child in me wants to mix everything all up the same way I did when I went to a soda machine or slurpee machine and mixed all the drinks together, but the cost conscientious adult over rules everytime. So dine in under AC or sit outside on one of the cute bistro sets. Uspoon is a cute little shop and my kids love it! So I'm sold on the concept. Thumbs up USpoon

My husband and I went last night after an unsuccessful dinner at home haha. This place just opened last week and everything was clean, bright and the employees were happy and helpful. They have a walls of about 10 different frozen yogurt flavors, two flavors to a machine plus a middle dispenser that mixes the two flavors - example cheesecake and strawberry. They have a pretty good selection of toppings - candy, nuts and fruits. There is a large display of cereal in the back, but I'm not fond of cereal in desserts. At .49 cents an ounce the total for two healthy portions was $12. Not a terrible price, but not super cheap. We'll definitely be back!

I wish so badly that I could give uSpoon five stars, but as of late, it's only getting four. I love the ample variety of yogurt flavors and toppings that uSpoon has to offer--more than any yogurt place that I've been to (which is a lot). The flavors are also all very tasty and the toppings are always fresh. The machines and topping bar are always clean, and I really appreciate that. Unfortunately, the yogurt comes out way too fast from the machines, and it makes it really hard to control the portions. Before the sample cups became an issue (I guess people were eating too many samples and taking advantage of them, therefore causing them to revoke your right to sample flavors) you would go to taste a flavor, and the yogurt would come out so fast that you couldn't stop it before it was all over your hands and overflowing from the tiny sample cup. I suppose that's not a problem anymore though, because uSpoon no longer offers free samples! A HUGE negative in my opinion because I am a very loyal, paying customer, and I feel like it's bad business to take away someone's right to try a flavor before they commit to buying an entire cup of it. uSpoon has "loyalty visits" that are documented electronically via special ipad program. This system replaces the old-school style punch cards that many yogurt places use. And while the idea is innovative and environmentally friendly, in my opinion, it has too many flaws to matter. For one, the system freezes on you 90% of the time (not uSpoon's fault exactly) but where other yogurt places will punch one hole per yogurt sale into your punch card, at uSpoon, you only get one loyalty visit every 24 hours no matter how many yogurts you buy or how many laps around you make that day. That fact has definitely stopped me from going as often. Also, when you reach your 10th loyalty visit, you get 5oz of yogurt (not even a whole serving!) of yogurt for free, but only if you type in the code that is sent to you via text. So you're pretty much screwed if you delete your text messages often or have your phone set to automatically delete your texts. You will not get your drop of free yogurt without that code! The uSpoon staff is mostly friendly (the owners especially) however I over heard one of the younger employees trash talking customers who walk in close to closing time, and have been told to by the same employee to "get a plastic spoon" to scoop toppings with when she decided to take away all of the topping spoons 30 minutes before closing time. That kind of bothered me because I was using the same little plastic spoon to scoop peanut butter cups and then fruit, and when I thought more about it, if someone after me had been allergic to peanut butter, I would have been contaminating most of the toppings for that person. I love uSpoon, I really do, I just hope that these little negative aspects can be improved before they become enough of a problem that people stop coming there. Only a few months ago, I would have rated uSpoon five stars and had nothing to say negative about it, because it's only as of late that the sample cups, ipad, and service have become a problem.

As far as froyo in Baltimore goes you can do better. Let me explain; I got the salted caramel and strawberry froyo. Both were rather runny and not firm, which caused a weird froyo soup by the time I sat down. The toppings were standard, but they need to cut the fruit up more. Fruit pieces were large, which means you can't get as many toppings in. It also makes it more expensive. For two cups of froyo we spent $17, which is kind of steep! This place is unique though. It's the only place I know of in Baltimore County that has DIY cereal as well as froyo. I'm not going to write this place off entirely, but it's not on the top of my list of go too places for froyo.

Lots of problems with Uspoon... here are just a few. I used to go here all the time but it is really come undone the past six months. Save yourself and drive a little farther for a real fro-yo place 1) the fruit is soggy, frozen, and sour. The strawberries are still ice cold. Sweetfrog and other fro-yo places use FRESH fruit. At $0.55 per ounce, you should have fresh tasty fruit available 2) $0.55 per ounce. Definitely the most expensive around. 3) The owner has no manners and I have witnessed her being quite rude to custoemrs 4) Are you a breakfast bar? A Latte place? A frozen yogurt store? OR now I noticed they have some type of salad bar in the works. Identity crisis 5) They weigh the famous cookies out on the scale and they sell them for a ridiculous price. One cookie was more than $1. They are tiny = highway robbery. Do not go here if you can help it.

Yogurt is average. It's great that Owings mills has a yogurt shop. I liked the toppings bar. But 18.00 for 2 medium yogurts is ridiculous.

So glad that there is finally a froyo place in Owings Mills. Love all the great lowfat flavors! And they are constantly rotating new flavors out. Like Mango sorbet, pink lemonde, etc. They even have protein that you can add to smoothies. Staff is always superfriendly and store is impeccable. Great flavor and topping selections! And they are usually open from 6am-11pm!!!!!

I was thoroughly unimpressed with my experience at USpoon. The yogurt was runny, and the flavors weren't very good. I tasted banana pudding (typical fake banana flavor) and cookies and cream (ok, not great). The flavor selection was pretty boring and typical. I ended up getting chocolate and salted caramel. I actually didn't finish the small amount salted caramel (and I NEVER leave a frozen dessert behind) - it was mostly salt and little caramel. It just tasted off. Perhaps I'm biased by the great selection of and competition between yogurt places in California. This place has nothing on Yogurtland. Topping selections were typical. I like the candy bar, but didn't get anything.

It's about time a place like this opened up in the Owings Mills/Reisterstown area! uSpoon is the latest in the self serve fro yo market but they go just a bit further so, to me, they do it better! First, they have ALOT of great flavors. The ones I can remember are Snickerdoodle, Birthday Cake, Cupcake (red like a red velvet flavor), Peanut Butter, Strawberry, Pomegranite Energy, Tart, Espresso, Caramel. (The only one I was missing was a Taro flavor, usually my fave at other yogurt places.) Second, since it is a yogurt, cereal and coffee bar, they have a decent selection of cereal in dispensers. Plus your usual yogurt toppings. The big draw however is the dispenser wall with all the candy! I lean towards the chocolate covered items (raisins, almonds, peanuts, pretzels, cookie dough bites) but they have gummy things, licorice, tootsie rolls - almost any candy topping you could think of! The price is comparable to others at .49 cents an ounce. The main reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that the menu on the wall indicates that the coffee bar part is "coming soon" so as soon as that opens, it will be a full service one stop shop and worthy of 5 stars. Also, employees are super friendly and helpful. Go check them out!

I have a love-hate relationship with uSpoon. I consider myself a frozen yogurt connoisseur and uSpoon delivers when it comes to flavor. The Italian Tart is quite tasty! However, sometimes the consistency of their yogurt is very runny. Not cool! The yogurt at uSpoon is also extremely overpriced! I love me some froyo, so I normally pile my cup high with yogurt and toppings, but when I go to uSpoon I skimp on everything and still end up paying around $7-8. Another drawback here is the size of the fruit, it would be nice if they would cut them into smaller pieces. One nice thing about this place is the iPad set up at the counter in lieu of royalty punch cards. You simply input your phone number whenever you make a purchase, and even receive discount offers via text. The only reason I go to uSpoon is because it's so close to my house. I'd much rather go to Tutti Frutti, but sometimes I just need a quick froyo fix.

I like fro yo, but this place isn't up to par. Frequently, the flavors are not creamy, and have bits of ice. Also, the flavors are not very strong. I really don't like how you can't sample-how are you supposed to know if you like a flavor?! Really? Ridiculous. Also, the ambiance is very spartan and not at a warm. Very mod, and horrible view of a parking lot. I also adds up price-wise much more quickly compared to other places. I so wish I liked this place more than I do.

The women who I believe is running the place (40's with dark hair) has no clue of what she is doing when it comes to making a latte or smoothie. Please don't waste your money here. Spending over $5 for a drink and the person is just guessing is not acceptable. Plus, she doesn't even wash her hands prior to touching the fruit. I don't see them sticking around long if she is the owner/manager.
